The 2011 DiabetesMine Design Challenge is now open and accepting submissions for innovative ways to improve the tools and technology used to managed diabetes. There will be three Grand Prizes of $7,000 plus a consultation with IDEO, a complimentary pass to this fall’s Health 2.0 conference, and expert help as appropriate. For more information on this competition, visit their website at http://www.diabetesmine.com/designcontest, which includes a great video featuring patients discussing the challenges of life with diabetes, plus the rules and requirements.
The contest is sponsored by the California HealthCare Foundation, supported by IDEO and endorsed by Medgadget.com.
