This April marks the first officially declared Open Education Month at RISD. An initiative started by Greg Nemes, co-founder and a lecturer of RISD Quickies, the month promises to be filled with tons of opportunities for learning and teaching among the students at RISD. RISD Quickies provides a great platform for interdisciplinary learning throughout the campus, with courses on how to utilize WordPress by a graphic design major, to a class on salsa grinding taught by an architecture student.
Be sure to check out the new list of courses at www.risdquickies.com. Suggest ones that you would like to see, sign up for ones that you are interested in, or even offer to teach some yourself!
