RISD’s Industrial Design students hail from every corner of the globe, so it comes as no surprise that when summer finally rolls around the students disperse once again throughout the world. From repurposing taxi cab parts in Hong Kong to interning at Apple in California, RISD ID students engaged in a diverse range of activities this summer ranging from jobs and internships to backpacking and teaching.
Kegan Tawney of the core RISD-ID.ORG team wanted to find out exactly where everyone spent their time this past summer. He sent out a survey asking the students about where they were this summer and what they were up to, then populated them onto the Google Map below.
