Just in time for the holiday season, we at RISD-ID.org wanted to support RISD students and alumni with a “Buy RISD” campaign. In the coming weeks, we will be showcasing RISD artists and designers, as well as their physical and online shops where you can shop and pick up gifts for friends and family.

Ravel Studio is a small design studio based out of Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Founded in January of 2012 by Colette Bazirgan, a recent alumna of the Industrial Design Department, the studio prides itself in its handcrafted designs made with the environment and social awareness in mind.
Bazirgan created Ravel Studio as an outlet for her to fulfill her vision of making products that are as eco-conscious as they are beautiful. The majority of her work is made from locally recycled objects and natural materials.
